Clip Profiles

Tecnoal Clip Profiles are aluminum extruded heat sinks designed for natural convection cooling and for the fast and secure mounting of power components The extruded profiles integrate dedicated grooves for clip fixing, eliminating the need for threaded holes.

The extruded fins perform a dual function, thermal and mechanical, enabling the direct mounting of TO220 and TO247 packages using stainless steel clips. The system ensures controlled and evenly distributed pressure on the component, providing stable contact and efficient heat transfer.

Clip fixing makes Tecnoal Clip Profiles particularly suitable for applications subject to vibration or mechanical stress, maintaining long-term mechanical reliability and consistent thermal performance. The heat sinks are also available with solderable pins for direct PCB mounting and automated assembly processes.
